Laboratoire d'Informatique, de Robotique et de Microélectronique de Montpellier
The Laboratory for Computer Science, Robotics and Microelectronics of Montpellier (LIRMM) is a research center jointly depending from the French National Council for Scientific Research (CNRS) and Montpellier II University. Amongst its four research departments, the
Microelectronics Department has been involved in the testing, self-checking, simulation and design of complex VLSI circuits since 1970. Its experience is based on numerous research projects sponsored by the C.N.R.S. and Ministry of Research, the French National Center for Telecommunications and several major companies. It was also involved in numerous Projects in the following European Union funded programs: Microelectronics regulation, ESPRIT 1, ESPRIT 2, ESPRIT 3 and MEDEA.
Since 1995, Michel Renovell serves as Co-Head of the department of Microelectronics at LIRMM. In 1986, he joined the LIRMM where he is a researcher funded by the French National Council for Scientific Research (CNRS). He has published over 120 international papers and his research interests include: Fault modeling, Analog testing and FPGA testing.
He is IEEE Chair of Communication group, member of many Program Committees of international conferences and Chair of the FPGA testing Technical Activity Committee of the TTTC, Test Technology Technical Council.
