                    Thanks to the important contacts with the enterprise system, 
                    the Politecnico di Torino is highly integrated in the economy 
                    and in the culture of its own region and country. 
                    The Test Group of the Dipartimento di Automatica e Informatica 
                    (Computer Engineering and Industrial Automation Department) 
                    has an extended experience in research and development with 
                    international recognition and participated in several European 
                    Union founded rojects 
                    (ESPRIT Basic Research Action 3216 CHARME, ESPRIT Basic Research 
                    Action 6575 ATSEC, ESPRIT Human Capital and Mobility EEC-HCM-0061

                    (Italian Ministry for University and Scientific Research (MURST), 
                    National Research Council (CNR), and Italian Space Agency 
                    (ASI)). 
                    This group of researchers is well qualified internationally 
                    in the fields of high-level test structures, BIST, and more 
                    recently BISR architectures and FPGA testing. 
                    Since 1987 Paolo Prinetto is a full professor at the Dipartimento 
                    di Automatica e Informatica. His research interests cover 
                    EDA tools, with particular emphasis on testing, automated 
                    testable synthesis, reliability, and dependability. He co-authored 
                    more then 100 papers published on 
                    refereed journals and international refereed conferences. 
                    He is ember of Program Committees of several conferences and 
                    journals. He is currently serving as elected Chair of the 
                    Test Technology Technical Council of the IEEE Computer Society. |
