S.p.A. is a Telecom manufacturer, of about 8.000 people, founded
on
November 1999 after the splitting of the former Italtel S.p.A.
The Company interests are
focused both on Transport (fiber networks and radio links)
and on Mobile Networks as well
as in personal communications. It is among the foremost suppliers
of mobile networks in the
Russian Federation, in the People's Republic of China, in
Iran and in Spain.
The organization involved in the project belongs to the Central
Laboratories and is managed
by Ing. Giuseppe Fazzini. In particular, the group consists
of people from the two
Laboratories that have the mission of Design Automation and
ASIC Design for the Siemens
ICN Business Units. The CAD engineers and the ASIC designers
would bring the experience
of the Design Methodology accumulated in the accomplishment
of many ASICs of the
complexity up to 8 million transistors.
