We are happy to announce that Testgroup in collaboration with LIRMM (Montpellier, FR) will organize a special session “How Approximate Computing impacts Verification, Test and Reliability of Integrated Circuits” at the IEEE VLSI Test Symposium 2018 (VTS’18), Hyatt Hotel, San Francisco, CA (USA) on April 22-25, 2018.
Approximate Computing (AxC) is a promising technique for reducing the cost (in terms of are and power consumption) of a computing system. However, AxC is still in its infancy since there is a lack of methodologies and automated tools for the entire design and manufacturing flow. The purpose of this special session is to introduce and discuss how approximate computing may impact the verification, the test and the reliability of digital circuits.
VTS’18 will be held at the Hyatt Hotel, San Francisco, CA (USA) on April 22-25, 2018.
