STEPS2 (Sistemi e Tecnologie per l’EsPlorazione Spaziale) is a research project co-financed by Piedmont Region involving universities, companies and research institutions of the Piedmont Aerospace District which aims at supporting the research and innovation activities in the Space Exploration domain.
ThestGroup is involved in this project in a collaboration with Thales Alenia for the development of efficient image processing hardware on FPGA platforms to support the navigation control systems.
